This is the line of thought that plagues me at 2AM when I’ve been evacuating the contents of my stomach into the toilet, repeatedly:
The human body is a massive chemical engine. Engines can be monitored. Sensors exist. They’re used all the time: just look at the iPhone.
Why is there not a chemical sensor which indicates that indeed, the stomach IS FINALLY EMPTY and therefore the vomit reflex should be turned to the OFF position?
Would’ve saved me a great deal of grief.
